It offers a full feature set — including two-way talk and crisp 1080p video — at a very budget-friendly price. This is also Ring's smallest hardwired model yet, so it's easy to squeeze in where other video doorbells might not fit.
The Ring Video Doorbell Wired does need to be hardwired, but if your current doorbell operates at a voltage between 10 and 24 volts AC, you can connect it to your existing wiring. This will power Ring's camera, but it will not
trigger your old chime when someone rings the bell. That's where the included Ring Chime comes in. Plug it into an AC outlet inside your home, and it will amplify your Ring notifications so that you don't need your phone on you to know someone is at the door.
The compact, budget-friendly Ring Video Doorbell Wired is an easy way to give yourself some added peace of mind.
